Spicing Things Up with Sun Bird Seasonings

I’ve blogged before about my exploding spice cabinet, dangerous teetering stacks of spices above my sink that continue to grow regularly. I’m a spice addict; life is just more interesting with vibrant saffron, perfumed vanillas, and, my current favorite, smoky ancho chilli pepper. But when it comes to Asian dishes, I usually turn to spice mixes like those made by Sun-Bird Seasonings, especially now that I’m trying to feed three cranky kids while the baby is screaming for her next bottle.

The teetering stacks of spices above my sink don't scare me... they inspire me!

I wasn’t familiar with Sun Bird Seasonings before I signed on to become a blog ambassador for their products. They sent me a package filled with a variety of their products to sample and we’ve been loving their Beef and Broccoli seasoning and their Honey Teriyaki seasoning. It takes the stress out of dinner and the kids have been loving the novelty of making Chinese-style food at home.

I’ll be playing around and creating some recipes to share with you over the next few weeks, but for now, I just wanted to spread the word about a great contest Sun Bird is having on Facebook to win a $500 spa getaway. You have until October 11 to enter the Break the Routine Cuisine Sweepstake, just like their page on Facebook for a chance to win. Good luck!
