>Roasted Vegetable Soup with Blue Cheese Spread Crackers: My Latest Snackpicks Post

>

I create a new recipe for the Kellogg’s Snackpicks website every month or so. They give me a theme and then let me run with it, testing the recipe, taking pictures, and writing the post. We work a few months ahead, similar to some magazine editorial calendars, and it’s painful for me to keep the recipes under wraps until they are published. I almost feel like I’m cheating by keeping such hard work a secret from you!

When the post finally goes live, I want to scream it from the rooftops.

Today my “winter family recipe” launched on Snackpicks. And it’s just perfect for the this snowy weather most of the country has been plagued with. My roasted vegetable soup will warm you deep inside, but your mouth will be pleasantly tingled by the easy blue cheese spread topping the crackers served alongside. The soup is easy to make and a great, filling, diet-friendly dish.

Such a relief to finally have shared it with you. Now all you need to do to is to head on over to Snackpics now to get the full recipe.

  1. >Hey Chef! I just found you through LA moms blog. I am absolutely making that apple spready/carmelized onion thingy tonight! Good stuff!

I'm following you now and hope you'll check me out at http://www.MommyLiteOnline.com.

By the way – I was JUST wondering – I applied to LA Moms Blog about 2 months ago and haven't heard back. Any idea who I should talk to? (So sorry to bug you with this!)
